Trinity Centre - Kudunuru
Trinity was our first daycare centre based in the village of Kudunuru, about 45km from TREAD India’s Headquarters in Bhadrachalam.
Opened in 2000, it serves families of mostly agricultural workers in the village- the parents will often be working from morning till night. So without support children will be left at home during the day to fend for themselves. Resulting in no access to state schooling.
Trinity is able to support families in the area by offering a safe and nurturing place for children before and after the school day where they are safe, fed, can play and are supported in their education.
After several years of incredible impact, the Trinity project has now come to a close as of 2025.
Trinity Project Update
Trinity achieved everything we hoped for and more. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, partners, and supporters, the project grew into a thriving, self‑sustaining community resource. Because of this success, we have made the decision to bring Trinity to a natural close and focus our funding and energy on our other programmes, where the need is now greater.
We are deeply proud of what Trinity accomplished and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. Its legacy continues to shape the work we do today.
