Sarah Centre - Podia

Sarah is our daycare centre based in the village of Podia. Founded in 2002, this is our largest site.

It serves families living in the town of Podia, with a population of just over 3000. Most of the families take part in seasonal agriculture work and subsistence farming. This has long hours and an unpredictable income, which in the past had meant that the children were left at home or had to accompany their parents while working.

Sarah is able to support families in the area by offering a safe and nurturing place for children before and after the school day where they are safe, fed, can play and are supported in their education.
